Due to internal growth, we are seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Lead Practitioner of English to be

responsible for supporting the English department and raising attainment and standards across Key Stage 3 and 4. 

You will strategically plan, develop and demonstrate the impact of these on learning and progress of pupils. You will work with the Head of English to narrow the gaps in the achievement of all groups of learners through implementing and managing an appropriate assessment strategy. You will also assist the Head of English in all aspects of the management of the department.

School Literacy and Reading Lead - APPLY HERE

Due to internal growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a talented and self-motivated Teacher of English to join our wonderful department. We are particularly searching for a teacher who is an excellent, reflective and creative classroom practitioner with a proven track record of improving outcomes for all students and has the ability to spread the enthusiasm for the subject beyond the classroom.  Are you someone who is looking for the next step up to lead whole of school reading and literacy?

You will be responsible for strategically leading the school improvement plan on whole school reading and literacy. The successful candidate will work alongside curriculum leaders to ensure literacy is taught in all subjects whilst ensuring that appropriate interventions are in place to ensure all students are able to read fluently with in dept understanding. The successful candidate will have a full understanding of how reading is the gateway to learning and is passionate about making a difference in the Academy.

As a key position in our Academy, we are looking for an exceptional candidate who can lead by example and inspire subject staff to have literacy and reading at the heart of all they do.

Assistant Head of Year - APPLY HERE

Due to internal growth, we are seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Assistant Head of Year. The aim of the role is to support and work with specific year groups in school supporting all students and removing barriers to learning that will allow them to succeed in school academically and socially.

As an Assistant Head of Year, you'll work closely with students who are struggling with social, emotional or behavioural problems that affect their ability to learn. You'll work alongside teachers and other staff, figuring out the needs of learners who require help and how to overcome barriers that are preventing them from achieving their full potential.

Estates Officer - APPLY HERE

We are seeking to appoint a enthusiastic and motivated Estates Officer on a 6 month fixed term basis. The aim of the role is to support the academies functions safely and effectively on a daily basis. The role is customer focused and is key to ensuring that all estates and facilities services are available and fit for purpose at all times. As a member of the Estates Team, the Estates Officer is expected to set and maintain high professional standards at all times and support the academy leaders and the Estates Cluster Supervisor and the wider Estates Team in delivering both an outstanding service to our customers and the vision of the Trust. Whilst being based in a ‘home’ academy the Estates Officer maybe required to work and support other academies within the cluster and regions.
