Assistant Head of Year - APPLY HERE
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head of Year who will be working with one specific year group in school supporting all students and removing barriers to learning that will allow them to succeed in school academically and socially. You'll work closely with students who are struggling with social, emotional or behavioural problems that affect their ability to learn. You'll work alongside teachers and other staff, figuring out the needs of learners who require help and how to overcome barriers that are preventing them from achieving their full potential.

Casual Exam Invigilator - APPLY HERE
We are seeking to appoint a number of casual exam invigilators to join the current team at Darwen Vale in preparation for the upcoming exam season. You will be reliable and punctual and be flexible in your approach to work. Be friendly and approachable yet remain professional. You will also have the ability to remain calm under pressure or when unexpected circumstances arise.
You will be responsible for supporting the Examinations Officer and the Senior Leadership Team to provide specific support to the school in the monitoring of internal and external examinations.

Estates Officer - APPLY HERE
The Estates Officer role is to ensure that their academies functions safely and effectively on a daily basis. The role is customer focused and is key to ensuring that all estates and facilities services are available and fit for purpose at all times. As a member of the Estates Team, the Estates Officer is expected to set and maintain high professional standards at all times and support the academy leaders and the Estates Cluster Supervisor and the wider Estates Team in delivering both an outstanding service to our customers and the vision of the Trust. Whilst being based in a ‘home’ academy the Estates Officer maybe required to work and support other academies within the cluster and regions.

Interim HR Partner (Maternity Cover) - APPLY HERE
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Partner to join a small but expanding HR team on an interim basis working for a busy multi-academy trust. This role will be multi-site working combined with homebased working, with travel to the nearest school as required and national travel for Human Resources Away Days which occur approximately every half term. Lead Communications Officer - APPLY HERE
Effective communication is core to our success and as Lead Communications Officer (LCO), you will have the breadth and wealth of skills, knowledge and experience to develop and grow the Trust’s communication, media and public relations (PR) function.
This is an important role, working closely with Local Academy Principals, their staff, central Team colleagues and internal/external stakeholders you will ensure alignment to our communications guidelines across the Trust, ensure consistency in our messaging, have attention to detail and accuracy, and produce material to the highest standard. The Lead Communication Officer will be responsible for ensuring our central team, subsidiary brands and associated brands are fully supported with efficient, effective and timely communication, media and PR support.

Casual Mini-Bus Driver - APPLY HERE
A casual, part-time driver is required for approximately of 10 hours per week, (1 hour before and after school each day).
We are looking for an enthusiastic driver for our minibus, transporting pupils and staff to various locations around Blackburn with Darwen, £10.60 per hour.
Applicants should be flexible and have a good understanding of health and safety requirements, and have good communication skills.
