On Friday 11th November our Head boy and girl, and deputy head boy attended Remembrance Day service at Darwen Cemetery with fellow students in cadet uniforms. They were invited as part of Friends of Darwen Cemetery to place wooden crosses on the Commonwealth War Graves in the cemetery.
Deputy head boy was invited to take part in the reading at the ceremony which was conducted by Rev. Terry Young.
Students met family members of the fallen heroes and listened to their stories.
