Congratulations must go to past pupil, Ffion Fox, who has secured a place at Oxford to study law.
I am delighted to announce that one of our past pupils, Ffion Fox, has been accepted to study law at Oxford University commencing September 2020.
Ffion left DVHS in 2018, achieving a great set of exam results including 5 grade 9s in English language, English Literature, History, Religious Studies and Science. She moved onto Cardinal Newman College, Preston, where she studied Law, Combined English and History and achieved A*, A and A in these subjects. Along with these A-level qualifications she also studied a HE Plus program due to her success at GCSE. This program allowed Ffion to gain valuable work experience at top London solicitors during her time at college. Achieving this University place is testament to the rewards of hard work and dedication.
We would like to wish Ffion a huge well done and good look for the future from all the staff and pupils at DVHS.
Good luck – you deserve it!
